About the Conference
Since 2018, the University of Michigan’s NROTC unit has been hosting an annual leadership conference where we gave midshipmen and officer candidates and opportunity to hear from accomplished naval leaders.
The Leaders in Naval Service (LINS) Symposium features leaders from the Navy and Marine Corps of various ranks, communities, and fields. We aim to provide a collaborative platform for Naval leaders to share their experiences, discuss current challenges and teach valuable skills.
The theme for this year’s symposium is The Ever Evolving Navy and Marine Corps, where we will emphasize leadership in our constantly evolving forces. Our goal is to inspire and educate participants to become leaders who can lead effectively and efficiently in new situations.
This year, LINS will focus on equipping future leaders with the skills and abilities needed to effectively lead in new and unprecedented situations with resilience, adaptability, and innovation. Our conference will include captivating speakers, breakout sessions, interactive activities, as well as a formal dinner.
